Two decades ago

On October 1st, 2000, the engineers Hartmut Behncke and Jens Zinck merged and founded the LEiTEK Informations- und Automatisierungstechnik Behncke & Zinck GbR. Even then, the business partners and their employees delivered automation solutions in particular for industry and medium-sized companies.

Continuous growth
In the following years, LEiTEK supported more and more companies with the control of their machines, plants and systems, which led to a growth to 26 employees. In 2013 the managing directors decided to change the name to a GmbH due to the positive development of the company. At the same time, the company moved into new and larger business premises in Schwerin

Innovative portfolio
With its innovative business field, LEiTEK is in tune with the times given the global introduction of Industry 4.0. But the company also knows how to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the energy transition. After LEITEK had automated a large number of public H2 filling stations in Germany, the control know-how was also in demand at Europe’s largest hydrogen filling station in Hamburg’s Hafencity. LEiTEK is currently building a hydrogen filling station in Antwerp.

The LEiTEK Informations- und Automatisierungstechnik GmbH in Schwerin-Süd is not only active worldwide, but always finds innovative solutions for highly specialized customer requirements and places great value on a good working atmosphere. 20 years after its founding, LEiTEK is set up for the future in terms of business and personnel. All sorts of reasons to celebrate!
